Sarah is a Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi based Creative Director with 15+ years in the beauty, fashion and start-up industries. She offers a unique combination of experience in brand development, digital, print and retail environments for a holistic approach to create engaging client experiences and multifaceted campaigns. This includes generating concepts, directing studio and location photoshoots, creative strategy, hands on graphic design, editorial direction, and creative management.
Her 12 year tenure as Creative Director with Sephora was focused on leading strategic vision for all Sephora inside JCPenney channels, including: retail environment graphics for 650 stores, Sephora site experience on jcp.com, social and digital content, and 360 marketing campaigns.
Most recently Sarah has been working for Portrait, a start-up in the medSpa space, where she was tasked with; partnering with Pentagram to build the brand, defining and implementing the creative strategy, building a team and setting up support tools/resources, launching the brand online and overseeing all creative execution.
Her work has been recognized by the Art Director's Club and has been featured in Communication Arts, Graphis' New Talent Annual and GD USA. She has been on the juror panel for Le Book, LA and BLVDArtists, San Francisco. She earned her BA in Graphic Design under Lanny Sommese from the Pennsylvania State University.
